I absolutely love unique bachelorette party and shower ideas. Everyone enjoys a night out on the town with the girls, but it is always fun to mix it up a little bit. When I came across the idea of a golf themed shower I absolutely had to share with my readers. Most I have seen are themed parties (which are absolutely adorable.) However, I think it would be super fun to take it a step forward and bring your best girls out for some time on the course. Now for those of you who are not savvy on the links- a driving range would be a great way to enjoy the golfing experience without sitting through 18 holes. Even mini golf could be a fun alternative (with minis in tote of course.) So why not get the ladies together, throw a few back, and shag some balls? For those of you in Atlanta Legacy & Fox Creek are located right outside the perimeter and offer instruction for groups and singles in addition to their driving ranges. Without further delay..here are some fun inspirations I have come across. Enjoy!

To my wonderful, dedicated followers,
Recently I was notified that my blog (which has not been updated in close to a year) has been receiving an incredible amount of traffic. This came as a shock considering the lack of updates. However, I find myself inspired and feel a triumphant return to the resource with new posts for all my beautiful bachelorettes is in order. Though I am an Atlanta-based gal; I plan on posting more about all the ins and outs of bachelorette parties as well as fresh ideas for my followers from all over. Please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org with suggestions, questions, or comments about anything related to the website, event planning, or general bachelorette shenanigans. I look forward to updating and hope to help make all of your bachelorette planning endeavors come true. Party on, ladies. Party on.

I was recently enlisted by a close girlfriend to help plan a bachelorette beach bash for the upcoming spring. Though vastly unseasonal I figured it would be a good time to make note of some tips and inspirations during the early stages of planning.
As I always try to instill in the minds of fellow friends and planners do your best to encourage a commitment from all of those who are invited. It is immensely difficult to budget when you do not have everyone on board. Also inviting 25 guests on an out-of-town trip is not only a major pain to plan for, but makes it nearly impossible to keep tabs on that large of a guest list. I am a strong believer in keeping your bachelorette party down to a smaller, more manageable size. This way everyone can enjoy themselves and it makes it easier for those who are executing the planning. When booking an out-of-town venue, hotel, house, condo- whatever it may be knowing the approximate number of attendees makes it that much simpler to budget, book, and follow through with all the little details.
Since I am an Atlanta girl it is a little difficult to make suggestions on exactly where to plan your bachelorette beach weekend since I have readers from all over. However, for those of you the South, here is a list of accessible destinations in no particular order;
1. Destin, FL. 2. Charleston, SC 3.Gulf Shores, AL. 4. Miami, FL 5. Daytona Beach, FL.
A lot of ladies I know have been choosing to forego sending out paper invites and to just send an e-vite to get the ball rolling. As easy as e-mail is I love receiving good invite in the mail (especially for a bachelorette weekend.) Here are a couple of fun, different samples I have recently come across;
As far as favors go it is always nice treat your friends with a little “thank you for coming” gift. By no means does it have to be anything expensive, however it is always a nice gesture to show your guests that you are appreciative of them being there to celebrate with you. Here are a couple of cute, affordable ideas that can be easily duplicated and used as gifts.
You can find adorable towels for as cheap as $4 at any local Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Usually monogramming is fairly inexpensive depending on where you go, but if the idea of full named doesn’t appease, you can always do a single letter.
Personalized cups are such a great, easy DIY gift especially for a beach weekend. However, if you do not have the time to craft you can always easily order them online. (photo above courtesy of ETSY)
I love, love, love koozies for a bachelorette party gift and they are so appropriate for a beach weekend. Not only are the extremely cheap to order and personalize, but they also last and can be used 100 times. Such a perfect keepsake for a weekend you and your girls will not surely soon forget.

Good evening to all my fellow bachelorettes out there! I have been lax with my posts during these past couple months and will be making new, fabulous updates soon. Fresh, exciting ideas for everything from bachelorette parties to showers to being a perfect hostess will be arriving shortly. Stay tuned…
and of course…
A Bachelorette party is a very special, and one of the most remembered times on a bride’s journey to her special day. Although many lucky brides are blessed with friends and family who end up throwing numerous showers, brunches, and teas- there is nothing like the final fling before the ring with your closest, and best girls. With all the planning involved, making sure this special night is arranged to a tee is a feat in itself- nothing says “I support you” more than going the extra mile to make that coveted night as special and unique as possible. Here are some great inspirations and ideas to give any bachelorette that special added touch.
Decor may not be the most important detail of a bachelorette party, however if you are planning something like a girl’s night in, dinner party, cocktail party etc.. having beautiful decor will make the evening even more special an out of the norm. Pick girly colors, or colors that work with the theme and start from there. From the linens to the cocktail straws, these little touches will not go unnoticed. Pomanders are very cute and easy to make. Not to mention easy on the wallet. Basically all you need it tissue paper, wire and ribbon. Here is a great DIY tutorial courtesy of Martha Stewart.
Speciality cocktails and desserts are easy and delicious. If you have the baking or mixology gene this should be an easy added touch for those of you who are talented in the kitchen or behind the bar. Try something like a champagne cocktail to satisfy everyone’s palate.
Integrate a theme. It does not have to be over the top, but makes for an even more unique, unforgettable evening. Animal print, black and pink, or even an 80’s theme are easy to execute.
Decorate the car. Yes, it is corny and cliché however you only get one chance to do this for your friend. These decals are inexpensive and can be found at any Party City.
Cute accessories like these DIY buttons are super easy to make and turn into great keepsakes.
Make beautiful itineraries for all the party guests. These will keep everyone on the same page and are especially useful for those coming in from out of town.

Over the past few years tanning has become a hot, sometimes controversial topic due to the increasing concern of health risks. Now all brides and birdesmaids know that tanning typically becomes part of a normal regiment when preparing for a big event. The upside of tanning now is that there are so many wonderful options to obtain that golden glow while still keeping health conscious. Some of the options include Versa Spa, Mystic Tan, and custom Airbrush Tanning, as well as an array of sunless products like Benefit’s Aruba in a Tuba. Since most brides would prefer their bridesmaids to have something other than a ghostly complexion for the big day I wanted to post the suggestion to host a tanning party. Many salons like Hollywood Tans Atlanta offer the option to throw an after hours tanning party for you and your closest friends. It is a 10 person minimum and they give you the choice of normal UV tanning as well as sunless options like Mystic Tan or Airbrush with Norvell Amber Sun solution to give you a flawless, golden glow. For those who are a little more self conscious- Mystic is a wonderful alternative and you have the ability to customize your tan with all kinds of additives to give you a fragrance, a darker boost, or to even extend the results. $25 per person gives you a visit into one of their UV booths and a packet of lotion. Sunless options range from about $35-$45. You are allowed to bring food and drinks which makes for a fun, carefree evening of tanning with your closest friends. If you have concerns about tanning check out the FDA’s website here.
