Every bachelorette group has different ideas of what makes for the perfect girls’ weekend. We are lucky to have such a great city full of fun, interesting events and happenings. Whether you are bar hoppers, spa-goers, are low key, mellow girl’s night in type of group, there is always something for everyone. Here are a few suggestions of fun outings to make the weekend as special as can be.
Sugarcoat Nail and Beauty Bar is by far one of my favorite places in Atlanta to frequent for that must have manicure and pedicure. You absolutely cannot beat the service and quality of this establishment. The cleanliness alone could draw ladies from far and wide. Sugarcoat gives an awesome, girly atmosphere which is perfect for a bachelorette gathering. If you are feeling extra VIP you have the option to book the entire store for an afternoon of pampering and fun. They allow you to bring food and cocktails in which makes for a great, all inclusive afternoon. The prices are extremely fair, but keep in mind if booking for an entire afternoon that they do require a minimum service and the rental fee runs around $150. This is a great idea if you have a bigger group. Also for the ladies under 21 who cannot enjoy all that Atlanta nightlife has to offer- this makes for a fantastic, affordable alternative. They have two locations- one in Buckhead off Pharr Rd. and one in Virginia Highlands.
For those who want to try something a little different and out of the box- Atlanta has an array of different locations that offer belly dancing classes, pole dancing classes, and hookah bars. Divan in Buckhead has a great atmosphere for the ladies who want to do something a little different from the normal bar scene. Pole La Teaz offers Pole, Lap Dance and Flirting workshops for the girls who want to go for a little bit more than a PG rating for their big night out. You can also check out Centrefuge for similar services. The Nazeem Allayl studios offer a variety of different belly dancing classes and work shops. I would personally recommend cocktails before and dinner afterwards to complete a fun, unique evening.
Sips and Strokes is a great alternative when trying to plan a little bit more of a low key evening. For one set price you can take a class with your closest ladies to paint your own canvas or potters (which is a great favor to remember the evening by.) This is a great idea for the group of ladies who are not so much into the bar and night life scene. You can also bring your own food and cocktails for an all inclusive type of evening. Sessions run anywhere from $35-$55 and usually require a minimum group number. Several locations in ATL.
More fun idea updates to come. Party On.
